I stayed in a charming little 'Nuns Cell' that felt more upscale than you'd expect from 1890. My mornings began with tea and scones, and I enjoyed learning about local history. the grand rooms are perfect for meetings, but honestly, I just wanted to throw a cocktail party in the lovely garden. the only hiccup was the ultra-thin toilet paper, reminding me of my office days back in Brussels. Still, I'd happily swap out my Euro-style luxury for this unique stay.

We stayed at a hotel located near our region that was close to the center and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our room had a nice view, a very comfortable extra large bed, and clean bathroom with complimentary bathrobes and tea/coffee facilities. the breakfast was very substantial, and the gardens were lovely.
The walls were not soundproofed properly, as we could hear people walking and using the bathroom upstairs.

We had an exceptional stay at Abbey Boutique Hotel. The beautifully restored property is set within well-maintained gardens, giving it a charming and peaceful atmosphere. The tastefully decorated rooms were not only comfortable but also spacious. The breakfast was well-presented and delicious, prepared with great care. Mark and Sonja, the owners, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Being close to restaurants and shops was an added bonus. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as thin walls and shared bathroom facilities, I would highly recommend this hotel. our experience at Abbey Boutique Hotel was exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great views from the room and the breakfast was alright. The location was convenient for my business needs and the staff was polite.
The room was really outdated and it didn't seem like it had been cleaned properly. The bed felt lumpy and uncomfortable.

The rooms at this hotel were incredibly spacious and the beds were huge and comfortable. It was such a treat to have so much space to relax in during our city trip. the property and garden were meticulously restored and maintained. the historical info signs throughout the hotel were a great touch and added to the overall charm of the place. the attention to detail and effort put into preserving the building was commendable.
One aspect we were not thrilled about was the lack of ensuite bathrooms in some of the rooms. Having to share a bathroom down the hall was a bit inconvenient, especially during the night.

There was nothing I didn't like.
